TIMOTHY WALDIE
Vice President-Biological Services

Biography
A graduate of San Diego State University in Biology, Mr. Waldie brings more than five years of practical experience in CEQA, NEPA, and sediment and water quality management to every challenge. Twenty-five plus years of management experience provide the basis for effectively coordinating and managing the complexities of these specialties to move projects forward without conflict.

Mr. Waldie has experience with the identification and preservation of endangered species both with the San Fernando Valley spineflower at Ahmanson Ranch and Estragalus albens at Right Star mine in the San Bernardino Mountains. He has provided CEQA guidance for clients such as Sunshine Canyon Landfill and Shaw Environmental, Inc. He has produced BMP and water quality management plans for Sunshine Canyon and Northrup/Grumman.

Identification and guidance in the avoidance and conservation of sensitive species defines the goal for resource surveys. Monitoring requires rapid identification skills and the ability to lead decisively and effectively. Mr. Waldie embodies these skills and emphasizes them to each professional within his department. This supports the JMA philosophy that pragmatic effective solutions are always possible.
